Illustrator Bruce McCall, of New Yorker fame, helped us created these direct mail pieces that encourage planners to hold events in two of 21’s most special rooms: the Upstairs and the Wine Cellar. Both pieces walk you through the experience of walking through the building and into the rooms (one of which is through the kitchen, down the stairs and through a two ton hidden door.
This email blast - sent out to party planners in New York City, quickly circulated around the globe. 21 received notes of praise from as far away as South Africa.
New York’s iconic ‘21′ features 4 floors worth of completely unique rooms for events. One holds the world’s largest private collection of Remingtons (patrons used them to pay off their tabs during the depression), one is situated in the wine cellar behind a two ton fake wall, and another houses hundreds of vintage beer steins. We redid all their sales materials so that the party planners of the world could get a good sense of the place - even if they had never stepped foot in it.
