Election ’24

VOTE FOR THE FUTURE

Getting out the vote for Kamala

Walrus’ late-push election effort offers a darkly comic vision of life under a second Trump presidency.

The series of 15+ social videos is targeting undecided voters, playfully show the inevitable outcomes of Trump’s extremist positions on issues they care most about, like healthcare and a woman’s right to choose.

A Schoolhouse Rock inspired animation “I’m Just a Pill” was sung by the group Lawrence, and highlights the very real possibility that the government could move to ban contraceptives.

Reproductive rights ranked high on the list of issues undecideds care about, and we approached that issue from different angles. Here, Grace Gummer plays a housewife of the future who is forced to fornicate with a sex robot in order to be sure she won’t have any more children.

Healthcare was among the top issues for voters, and Donald Trump had for years threatened to dismantle Obamacare and replace it with something “beautiful.” Should that beautiful form of healthcare ever come to fruition, it only makes sense that Chris Parnell’s zany 30 Rock physician, Dr. Spaceman, would be the one in charge.

Fun, meme-like lo-fi videos were also part of the mix.
